  • Are your recommendations truly in my best interest? Are you obligated to be a fiduciary at all times?

    Yes. All our recommendations are in our client's best interest, and we always maintain the fiduciary standard. We do not sell any commission-based products, so we will only act in your best interest.

  • How are you compensated? Are you fee-based or fee-only?

    We are a fee-only financial planning and investment management firm. Our compensation is agreed upon before doing any work, and we pride ourselves on full transparency of fees.

  • Will your recommendations be primarily in one area or comprehensive in nature? In other words, will I need to find another advisor for advice in other areas?

    Unless otherwise agreed upon, all our recommendations are comprehensive. Most of our clients engage in ongoing financial planning and are provided with a full written financial plan. Although we do not offer tax preparation or legal services, we partner with multiple tax and legal experts to ensure you are completely taken care of.

  • Do you have the knowledge and experience necessary to successfully navigate the complicated world of financial planning and taxation and achieve my financial goals?

    Yes. David Wiedmeyer has extensive financial planning experience and almost ten years of experience. On top of that, David has a Master's degree in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Miami University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®).

  • How many clients do you serve, and how does their situation compare to mine?

    We are currently a boutique firm serving 12 households and growing. Our current client focus is on Millennial and Gen X couples seeking financial independence.

  • How often will I hear from you?

    We work for you. So our clients are free to call any time. We have regularly scheduled meetings at least four times yearly to cover all your financial needs. These meetings will cover the four main areas: tax planning, risk management, investment management, and debt/cash flow management. On top of our regularly scheduled meetings, we will reach out via text, email, and phone to check in and ensure everything is going well! Or to say hi!
